I will use this blog chiefly to post fiction and essays. I have blogged on previous platforms (Wordpress and Blogger), but abandoned both of those; Wordpress is ad-riddled and stringent on customisation for free users, and I do not trust Google to keep Blogger running (considering how many services it’s killed on a whim).
I came across Bear while researching good free blogging platforms, and it is excellent for my needs: minimalistic, ad-free, and customisable without payment. There’s only one problem: due to technical limitations, you cannot comment on blog posts hosted by Bear. I have a solution: if you have something to say, contact me via any of the avenues listed in the Contact page.
